Luke’s gospel tells us :- ‘very early in the morning, the women went to the tomb’.

6.30am seemed very early in the morning to us (particularly as the clocks had been put forward by one hour) when we met on the beach to experience the sunrise and remember the Son Rise!

It was cold and windy but that didn’t curb the experience, as we reflected on the empty tomb and shared communion and fellowship together.

The women ran aWAY from the tomb
to tell the disciples what they had seen,
but the disciples doubted the TRUTH
that Jesus had come back to LIFE.

Before He died, Jesus told his disciples :-

‘I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE.
No-one comes to the Father except through Me’.

His resurrection confirmed that statement once and for all.

The Risen Lord intercedes for us to God.

Instead, we enjoyed Cold Cross Buns and ‘Hot Coffee’ before returning home for a hot shower to thaw out.
 and the sun did rise!
