We set up in half light for our
6.am communion service
on the beach by the
North Shore Hotel
which was led by Keith Locke
It was one of the warmest mornings we have experienced in recent years – or was it because of the many layers of clothing we had adorned?
But it was still a wonderful experience, quiet, with just the lapping of the waves and a bright shaft of sunlight.
That still reflected to me the light in the tomb where Mary Magdalene saw angels at the head and the foot of where
Jesus had lain.
We enjoyed an invigorating service as we celebrated our Lord’s resurrection
followed by coffee and hot cross buns.
And we have to say that the kitchen staff looked very bright considering it was only 6.30am!
