Skegness Methodist Church   
Celebration of Church Life  -  Pentecost 2003

On June 8, 2003, Skegness Methodist Church celebrated its Church Life starting with a family service at 10.30 a.m. which was followed by a group photograph.

During the morning worship three new members were received by Confirmation.

After the photograph, 58 of the congregation of members and friends shared a roast lunch together in the church community hall which was prepared by outside caterers.
The day was rounded off with the church's Annual Meeting at which the Annual Report from the Church Council was received. Anne May, Julia Allton, Jenny Savage, Sharon Rippon and Pam Haynes were re-elected to serve as Church Stewards and Neil Baxter, John Fortnam and Mary Lower were elected as Church Stewards for the first time.
Margaret Smith, Mavis Coley, Lois Wright, Margery Shaw, Douglas Hill, Joyce Porter, Michael Gray, John Shaw, Wendy Woolley, Bill Kerr (Property Steward), Roy Coley, Ida Paul (Treasurer), Paul Johnson, Bill Paul, Evan Bosman and George Dawson were elected as representatives to the Church Council. They will be joined by Sylvia Longmate, Pete Newsome, Sandra Newsome, Michelle Bosman who have been appointed by the Church Council.
