What is a Casserole Party? - well it's not like Tupperware.
You don't buy the casseroles, but enjoy an array of different foods cooked in casseroles.
Thirty Church members and friends joined together at the home of Brenda & John Fowlston on a beautiful evening and were served a choice of seven different meals ranging from Chilli to Boeuf Bourguignonne and Vegetarian dishes.
Most people went back for seconds and even thirds! and still found room for sweets.
As a Church fund raising event, a profit of £75 was made on the night, but the evening was primarily one of fellowship and we are looking forward to yet another party some time in the near future.
Our sincere thanks to Brenda for the immense effort she put in, in preparing all the dishes.
